His earlier roles include quantitative research at CQS, fixed income at BNP Paribas, and enterprise architecture at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, collaborating with NYSE and Nasdaq on major trading technology projects.
As an entrepreneur, Nathan co-founded two successful startups, including HotelsByDay, featured on ABC’s Shark Tank, and music licensing firm Songs for Film and TV.
RYAN JANSSEN is an entrepreneur, data scientist, and technology investor. He is the co-founder and CEO of Zenlytic, a business intelligence tool designed for e-commerce and direct-to-consumer operators. Zenlytic enables merchants to understand business growth drivers through a user-friendly, code-free interface.
Prior to Zenlytic, Janssen was a venture capitalist and growth-stage technology investor at AGC Equity Partners in London, where he managed investments up to $50 million and served on multiple boards across three continents. He also worked in McKinsey & Company's growth-stage technology practice and Ernst & Young's operational transaction services group. Additionally, he has been a private investor and advisor to several tech startups.
Janssen holds an M.A. in Data Science from Harvard University, an MBA from Oxford University, and an engineering degree from the University of Alberta. He resides in New York City.
