About the Expert

Amol has experience in building and scaling SaaS and Marketplace businesses from seed stage through series C. He is currently the COO of an Africa-based startup, The Room, where we are targeting to train 2M software engineers in Africa by 2030. We are building a platform to connect this talent with worldwide employers. Previously Amol scaled Freight Tiger from infancy to a market-leading SaaS-enabled Freight Marketplace in India. Amol built the entire cross-functional team of ~250 members and directly managed Product and all the business/customer functions (GTM, Customer Success, Launch and Business Operations). Amol holds an MS in Industrial Engineering from University of Central Florida and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
