About the Expert

With a doctorate in Business Administration, Günther has over 25 years of international leadership experience in the specialty biopharmaceutical, medical technology and diagnostics industry. An accomplished CEO and MD of international companies he has utilised his considerable understanding of the complexities associated with operating in international markets, including country specific differences in regulations, market access and medical practices. Günther has achieved remarkable successes with sales and profit growth of several 100% in short periods. He raised seed and Series A funds as well as 800 million in structured financing for a company acquisition. He is a winner of the Chairman Business Development Award and of several marketing awards. Günther´s business development deal sheet encompasses more than three dozen transactions. Günther advised an AI start-up in gaining a foothold in pharma and F1 racing. He has held senior executive positions in small, medium and large companies predominately in commercial operations having launched his career at Glaxo and Eli Lilly in Austria and has led life sciences organisations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Russia, Poland, Czechia. Günther is a visionary entrepreneur and helped starting-up a full-cycle women´s healthcare pharma company in Russia. He has co-founded two companies in the medical technology sector in the infertility and women´s health space.
