HAE's EiR program brings together individuals with deep industry, investment, and/or entrepreneurial experience to help Harvard's entrepreneurs get to the next level.
Learn how you can help Harvard's entrepreneurs — from idea to exit — make better decisions and succeed.
To participate in HAE's EiR program you must be a paid member of HAE.
Apply to be an EiR
The EiR program offers two mentor opportunities:
1. Lead Mentors serve as the primary mentors for one accelerator company. Two Lead Mentors are assigned to each company providing support, advice, and counsel for the duration of the 11-week program. The anticipated commitment is ~ 1-2 hours a week arranged with the accelerator company. The HAE Accelerator '23 will start at the end of February '23 and go through the beginning of May.
As with last year, there may be more lead mentors than companies. If you are not selected as a Lead Mentor, you will have the opportunity to participate as a Subject Matter Expert.
2. Subject Matter Mentors offer subject-specific expertise (such as pricing, product-market-fit, etc.) and serve on an 'on-call’ basis for both the Accelerator companies as well as the greater HAE community. The anticipated commitment is ~ 1-3 hours a month.
This year’s EiR program has a few new opportunities for you to be involved:
o SME's and Lead Mentors have the opportunity to be guest speakers for one of our topic-specific webinars or in-person events.
o Mentor Harvard students interested in entrepreneurship or who are already on the journey.
o Participate in our beta “Brainstorming” program (’23) where a core group of 3-5 EiRs lend their expertise via an intensive brainstorming session focused on solving a clearly defined business challenge for a founder.
