Join us for an afternoon of civic engagement, where we give back to the city and community we live in.
This event is a civic action event designed to engage HAE members and friends in a day of community outreach and engagement.
Partnering with the Red Dot Project, we will distribute menstrual products and care packages to shelters in downtown Toronto. Care packs that include snacks, gloves, and hats to keep those experiencing homelessness warm, will also be handed out.
All members and friends are invited to participate.
Red Dot Project’s mission is to provide people who are experiencing homelessness in Toronto the opportunity to manage their period in a safe and hygienic way. Two fundamental objectives that we feel are most important to us during this event are to ensure menstruators:
have enough supplies to manage their period
are able to choose how they manage their period
$15 Proceeds to be used to purchase supplies for distribution
In order to attend HAE events, please join as either a: Full Member @ $50/year, Affiliate @ $150/year, Harvard Student @ $25/year, Friend of HAE (free membership)
Paid Membership is open to Harvard alumni, faculty, and staff. Student Membership is open to current Harvard students only. Affiliate Membership is a non-Harvard membership open to qualified entrepreneurs and investors.
