Brandon Hoffman, MPA ‘16

Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Sunset Ventures, a pre-seed fund that focuses on the future of gaming, media, finance, health, and work. Previously, he led and executed several investment efforts and early-stage deals as an investor at Samsung Next, the software investment group of Samsung Electronics, focused on Web3, gaming, and fintech areas. At Samsung, he also co-founded Diverse Founders Initiative and Diverse Angels, investing in Black, Latinx, and Women founders.

Darrel Frater

An Investor at Visible Hands VC, Darrel assists with investing in early-stage companies led by underrepresented founders. Additionally, he serves as a mentor in several accelerator programs such as Techstars, ACT House, and Ideas42 Ventures. Darrel previously served as an Investment Analyst at Comcast where he led research and sourcing for diversity investing in minority-led startups and funds, contributing to the recent $1M investment in Backstage Capital's Fund.

Malory Mclemore, MBA ‘22

Co-Founder and CEO of Stell, a startup that digitizes the relationships between Aerospace and Defense companies and their suppliers. Previously, Malory led teams in Aerospace and Defense companies like Hadrian, Raytheon Technologies, and Airbus.

Amber Nigam, MS ‘22

CEO and Co-founder of basys.ai, a digital health startup. Amber has more than a decade of experience in healthcare and Artificial Intelligence. Previously, Amber co-founded and served as CTO at kydots.ai, where he led sales and engineering teams to deliver the SaaS product to enterprise clients in the financial management and human capital domains.

Jie Sun, MS ‘22

As COO and Co-founder of basys.ai. Jie’s career has been rooted in healthcare for the past 10 years with experience in healthcare consulting, pharma, and hospitals. Previously, she worked for Pierre Fabre managing the strategic medical business.. Jie was awarded 40 under 40 Health Catalyst Award from the Boston Congress of Public Health.
