Staci Warden is the CEO of the Algorand Foundation, the best L-1 blockchain, where she also sits on the BOD. Prior to joining Algorand, she ran the Global Market Development Practice at the Milken Institute for eight years, leading initiatives on capital market development, FinTech for financial inclusion, crypto and blockchain solutions, and innovative finance of the sustainable development goals. Prior to Milken, Staci ran J.P. Morgan’s public sector practice for EMEA out of London. Before that, she led the Nasdaq’s two markets for microcap companies and had senior roles at the U.S. Treasury Department, the Center for Global Development, and the Harvard Institute for International Development.

Staci has done business in over 50 countries and has advised, spoken, and written widely on issues of capital-market development, FinTech, and crypto/blockchain solutions, financial innovation for inclusion, and access to capital. She sits on the boards of the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC) and the Energy for Growth Hub. She chairs the Board of the Rwandan Capital Market Authority, and serves on several advisory committees, including the advisory committees of the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), the European Parliament’s Science and Technology Committee (STOA), and the U.S. Financial Technology Association (FTA).
