Come to network with other members of the Harvard entrepreneurial community, enjoy food and beverages, and learn from local tech leaders in a rapidly growing industry.
We will hear from Luke Winston, Global Head of Sales and Services at Formlabs, and Ric Fulop, CEO and Co-founder of Desktop Metal. They will talk about how their respective companies got started, the challenges they faced as they grew, and what they expect for the future. We'll also get to take a look at some real 3D printers and learn a little about the 3D printing process!
Luke Winston, Global Head of Sales and Services at Formlabs
Luke joined Formlabs as the first "business" hire in 2012 and worked as Operations Lead to build and manage everything from the company's breakout Kickstarter campaign to Manufacturing and Customer Support. Today, Formlabs is a global company with offices in China, Germany, and Japan.
Ric Fulop, CEO and Co-founder of Desktop Metal
Before Desktop Metal, Ric was a General Partner at North Bridge, as well as the founder of six technology companies, including A123Systems. He co-founded Desktop Metal in 2015, which provides an end-to-end 3D printing solution for metal parts. In 2017, the company was selected as one the world's 30 most exciting "Technology Pioneers" by World Economic Forum.
