About John Markoff
John Markoff is a journalist best known for his work at The New York Times, in addition to his book and series of articles about the 1990’s pursuit and capture of hacker Kevin Mitnick. He is currently a Journalist in Residence at Stanford's HAI (Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence) department, and is completing a biography of Stewart Brand, the creator of the Whole Earth Catalog.
