Today, Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs announced the launch of the new Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs Global Advisory Council. The Council brings together distinguished members of the Harvard community - entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders from the most senior levels of business, academia, and the non-profit sector, to serve as advisors and strategic counsel to HarvardAE. As HarvardAE works to support our community throughout the world, our Global Advisory Council will provide critical insight and support to drive our mission forward and help shape our ambitious agenda for the rest of 2022 and beyond.
Those joining the Council are:
Lynda Applegate, Baker Foundation Professor, Harvard Business School
Lynda M. Applegate is the Baker Foundation Professor at Harvard Business School and also serves as the Chair of the Advisory Committee for Harvard University’s Master of Liberal Arts in Extension Studies degrees in finance and management. In addition to serving as the head of the Entrepreneurial Management Unit and chair of the HBS Owner Managed Executive Education Programs, Lynda has held a variety of leadership positions at HBS and across Harvard University. Prior to joining the HBS faculty, Lynda was on the faculty of the University of Michigan, University of Washington and University of Arizona. In addition to her academic positions, Lynda also held a variety of leadership positions in the health care industry.
Diana Chen, Chair, Yintai Investments US
Diana Chen is a self-made businesswoman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She is the founder & CEO of Pioneer Group Holdings, Chair of Yintai Securities Co., Ltd, and Chair of Yintai US Investments. Yintai’s mission is to invest in and help grow companies that have substantial potential to improve life and benefit society. Diana is also Chair of the Centrum Charitas Foundation. She has been awarded the JP (Justice of the Peace) and BBS (Bronze Bauhinia Star) by the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and she has been invited to join various Hong Kong government committees for her over twenty years contributions to the society. Diana is an alumna of Harvard Business School’s OPM program.
Dr. Sabine Möritz-Kaisergruber, Managing Partner, Astro Pharma
Sabine is a German native living in Vienna, she is married and has two adult boys. Her background is mainly in pharmaceuticals having worked in big pharma before starting her own pharmaceutical company 2004 together with her husband Helmut. Her passion is continued education with a MBA from Thunderbird Business School, a doctorate degree from Vienna University and recently having graduated from the HBS OPM program.
She is also leading the Austrian Biosimilars Association as president already in the second term. In her free time she loves to travel, hiking and skiing

Omiros Sarikas, Managing Partner, Brookstreet Equity Partners
Omiros Sarikas is Managing Partner (CEO) of Brookstreet Equity Partners a London-based private equity firm. Throughout his career, Omiros has received over 20 recognitions including: WHO IS WHO Award in Finance, as a Real Deals DraxFuture40 Investor that shapes the future of Europe, and the Freedom of the City of London award for his work as a Liveryman and Member of the Court of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers. Omiros is a Fellow at the Royal Society of Arts, a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and has advised committees of the British Venture Capital & Private Equity Association and the House of Lords. Omiros holds CEO, Chairman and Board positions across Europe and the United States at family offices, foundations and 4IR/ESG tech companies. He is the Chair of HarvardAE UK Chapter. He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s OPM program.
