Chapter activities and goals:

Chapter Events
We organize several events throughout the year for Harvard alumni and Harvard affiliates. The chapter also jointly hosts many events with partner organizations. Please sign up for the membership and the mailing list here to be informed of chapter activities.
PANEL DISCUSSIONS & HAE KNOWLEDGE SERIES
HarvardAE India chapter organizes panel discussions and workshops to support entrepreneurship in the South Asia context. Experienced entrepreneurs or service providers are invited to share insights with attendees. The structure and content of these varies - from the number of panelists to size of audience. The HarvardAE knowledge series is an exclusive Harvard Alumni only event that has been immensely successful. In a small group setting, entrepreneurs come together to discuss challenges, share ideas, exchange advice and foster collaborations with seasoned entrepreneurs and business mavens.
NETWORKING EVENTS
Multiple networking events are organized throughout the year. These are some of the most well-attended events of the chapter. Popular venues have been Harvard clubs, hotel convention halls, and restaurants.
HAA GLOBAL NETWORKING NIGHT
HarvardAE India participates in HAA’s GNN event in New Delhi along with other HAA SIGs and Clubs. This once-a-year event brings together Harvard alumni for networking over light refreshments. The event is held simultaneously across the globe.
COMMITTEES
The chapter committees are responsible for various activities of the chapter. Chapters have flexibility around the structure and membership of the committees. Committee members can be elected by members or nominated by the co-chairs. Committees include:
Finance Committee: Oversee the finances of the chapter, including chapter activity planning and reaching out to potential chapter supporters
Events Committee: Responsible for planning, execution of events, and collaborating with other organizations for joint events
Membership & Partnership Committee: Develop chapter memberships, manage member communication, and foster institutional partnerships.
Sponsorship Committee: Develop connections with relevant organizations for sponsorship of specific events or activities for HarvardAE members.

Types of opportunities:
Volunteer – Volunteer to help organize events. Participate as a committee member or general member.
Host Events – If you or your organization would like to host an event, please let us know about the event idea and we will make it happen. Events could range from informal Meet-ups at restaurants, bars to formal seminars or networking events at corporate offices.
