How long can I keep the items?

As a member, you can keep items for an infinite amount of time. Your rentals are yours until you're ready to return them.

Can I keep or purchase the clothing?

Yes! You can buy items that you fall in love with once they’re at home, or–if you know it’s the real deal–you can buy items without renting them first.

The best part? As a member you get access to members-only sales and exclusive discounts on purchases.

Please note, West Elm items must be rented prior to purchasing.

By becoming a member, your annual dues provide a critical source of support for our programs and initiatives: Office Hours, HarvardAE Investor Series, HarvardAE Invites podcasts, Entrepreneurs-in-Residence program, special conferences, chapter events, and HAE Connect, our mentoring, networking and community platform exclusively for Harvard alumni.

Compare our Friends of HAE (free users) versus Member (dues paying users) options below. If you apply to become a member you will be asked to provide documentation of your Harvard affiliation. (Harvard-issued email or entry in the Harvard Alumni Association directory). Please note: Friends of HarvardAE are not eligible to sign up for HAE Connect.
